The Details

Body Type: Suzanne is a young and tall woman, with Asiatic features. Her black eyes and thin eyebrows reveal calm and trust. She had long black hair, and usually she wears it tied in a ponytail. When she smiles, she reveals a white and perfect teeth.

Wardrobe: Suzanne is always more comfortable wearing jeans. She uses to wear shirts and blouses of white, blue, green or black colors. Usually she likes to wear a black jacket that belonged to her mother when she was younger. Suzanne always wears sports shoes, and rarely uses high heels.

Costume: Suzanne's costume is a black suit that covered all her body. In the arms she wears red armbands. She wears red boots and had a red belt.

Posture: Suzanne's always has a calm smile in her face. Despite her always working hard, she always has a relaxed posture, and when she is comfortable with people she always tuck her hair behind her ear. When she is nervous or remembers something sad, she will look away and rub her hands trying to calm down.

Personality: Suzanne is calm and polite with everybody. She is a loyal friend and will always act as a big sister, willing to listen to everybody who wants advice. It's very hard to get her mad. Suzanne loves her powers, and although her limits frustrates her sometimes, it's a good reminder that with effort you can achieve great things.

Suzanne always study and work hard, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't know how to relax. She will always enjoy hanging out with friends. If there is something she doesn't know or can't do, she will do her best to learn about it or domain it. Give up doesn't exist in Suzanne's mind. Suzanne can be a little competitive when she wants, but she is not a bad loser.

After her parents' death in a crossfire Suzanne developed a extreme hate towards the gangs and the guns. She is against killing and will always try to find a pacific solution during conflicts. In case she can't she will use her powers to stop it. A part of Suzanne blames herself for the death of her parents thinking that maybe she could have save them with her powers. She always wonders what if she had the chance to go back and save them. After the incident a part of her fears to return to New York, believing that is not a safe place, and she has decided to study laws in a College of Washington or in Massachusetts.

She thinks that despite their differences, humans and mutants have the same rights and she will fight for those rights.

Powers and Abilities

Genetic Mutation:

Suzanne has chronokinesis, that means that she posses the power of decelerate and or stop the time around her. By focusing carefully, Suzanne can slow down or stop objects and people, so then she can freeze them in mid air, paralyze them and other effects. She can target specific objectives with enough concentration.

She also has the talent of replay past events that happened in small areas like if they were ghosts (like if you are watching a video).

Suzanne is immune to her own powers.

Weaknesses:

She can be hurt and killed like any other human.

She can only slow or freeze time in small areas (the limit would be a small house), the maximum time she can use her powers would be 45 minutes, if she tries to freeze time for more time, she can suffer a seizure.

She needs concentration to activate her powers, and strong noises can break her concentration.

She speaks many idioms, such as English, French, Japanese and Russian.

The History

Suzanne Chang born in California and was the daughter of David and Emily Chang, who became naturalized citizens of the United States after living twenty years in California. Suzanne had a normal childhood and dreamed to became a lawyer since she started to study in high school, getting high grades. When she turned 17 she planned to go to study law in New York and traveled with her parents to New York to show them that she would be okay and safe.

But tragedy hit Suzanne when while they were walking in China Town, they got caught in a crossfire of gangs. Suzanne was the only one that survived that her parents died at the instant. When police arrived they found Suzanne in shock and saying that she was able to stop the bullets. In reality, her mutant powers manifested and she was able to freeze the bullets in the air, but she was unable to save her parents.

The police placed the girl in an hospitals where she was under observation for 48 hours. After she got released, police told her they would investigate the murder, but said that it was hard for them to find the criminals. She wandered around New York lost and not knowing what to do, till she finally arrived to the crime scene when her parents died. Then the second nature of her powers manifested: she saw the past events of the area, and the dead of her parents. She then realized that she was a mutant, and she had control over time. After seeing the shooting for second time, Suzanne followed the ghost images of the gang members till she arrived to their lair.

Suzanne made an anonymous call to police. When they arrived the killers started shooting, but Suzanne used her powers to freeze them so police could arrest them. After telling her story to the detective that investigated the case, he decided to call an old friend who worked in the police of New York with him: Sean Cassidy, and the detective told him about Suzanne and her powers. Trusting the detective, Suzanne decided to enroll in the Massachusetts Academy, where she could learn how to use her powers and she could finish her studies.
