The year is 2015. Young mutants around the world are finding sanctuary at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, a place dedicating to showing mutants how to develop and use their gifts and it also provides a world class education to them.
However, the Government wants mutants as well. The Department of Homeland Security wants them tested and experimented on so they can build armies of people with gifts for war as a top secret project. They have hired an agency known is the Mutant Appropriation and Research Agency to capture young mutants. Representatives from MARA pose as representatives from Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, recruiting new students. Once they gain the trust of the parents, they escort the mutants to a government facility. They train the mutants to kill or be killed.
The X-Men have not yet found out about MARA and the government's top secret project. They carry on with life as usual.
Magneto however, knows of MARA. He was captured by them at one point and made his escape. He is the only mutant who knows how to infiltrate them from the inside. Once the project is found out, the X-Men and Brotherhood will have to form an unlikely union. Join us! We're OC friendly and there are plenty of available canons. Hope to see you there!
