This is first and foremost a school. The Basics
Name: James "Jimmy" Hudson III Codename: Scavenger Type of Character: Canon Species: Mutant Play-by or Voice Actor: Bradley James Age: 17 Gender: Male Sexual Preference: Heterosexual Height: 6'0" Weight: 149 lb.
Faction: Mass. Academy School Year: 2015 Occupation: Student
Tough break Scott, doing the school play with pale gloomy and grumpy over there. The Details
Body Type: Toned muscularly, but not huge, many would describe Hudson as being built for football. Most likely he would get a running, or receiving, position due to the fact that while he is tall he is simply not very large. He usually wears his hair in a short, combed, style. It is a very bright shade of blond that often appears brighter thanks to sunlight reflecting off of his locks. His eyes are also a sapphire blue, that are often noticed thanks to how they stand out against the rest of his extremely bright complexion.
Wardrobe: Jimmy often wears a variety of clothing, usually something warm to accommodate the fact that he's more accustomed to a far more temperate climate than the one he's currently living in. This usually includes dressing in layers, hoodies being a particular favorite, and a pair of abused black leather gloves. Boots are something that is also a favorite of his, though a good pair of sneakers will work just as fine on a normal day.
Costume: In the event that he would take to wearing a Hellion uniform, Jimmy's would be primarily red with black shoulders. Adding to these two pieces he would also have a similarly colored chest and abdomen, plus, black boots and gloves to break up all the color.
Posture: Most commonly, Hudson stands in a pretty closed-off stance. Usually he holds his arms crossed across the chest. Even in this situation his shoulders are usually still relaxed, and his neck leaned forward at an ever so slight angle. While walking he creates a certain swagger around himself, one that can easily be read, that exudes confidence that can only be communicated through the manner of ones stride.
Personality: Jimmy is an adopted kid, usually this places in the minds of those he meets that he is a troubled child who can't seem to behave when law is involved. Unfortunately, Hudson adheres to this particular stereotype. It's not through any problems with his upbringing, more so, it seems that he simply just has bad luck. "Wrong place at wrong time" syndrome if you will. The few times that he actually DOES do something and gets caught doing it, he'll admit to it. This can be attributed to how his adopted parents raised him, though.
When someone meets Hudson they usually get the impression of an abrasive young man who's not interested in what you have going on, however, he's not really as much of a jerk as first impressions would lead you to believe. His gruff demeanor and way of handling things seems to be more of an impulsive reflex that Jimmy's always had than a conscious decision to be unfriendly.
Mostly Hudson is a fairly open-minded young man, trying his best to tolerate everyone. Even before he himself had learned about his mutation the young man would have several mutant friends at any given time. Always having an optimistic view on the world, always advocating for the way things should be rather than they are, usually talking about how cool his friend's powers were and mentioning on more than one occasion that abilities of his own would be awesome. Normally, Scavenger still can barely comprehend the idea of someone not wanting their powers. Exceptions to this rule usually include people with particularly dangerous powers, though with his own inherently dangerous powers the thought still occasionally confuses him.
Another thing James particularly enjoys cars, and pretty much any vehicle that can go fast in general. A large part of the fondness is a fascination with how powerful these machines are. With endless potential they can be anything, and less realistically, Hudson would like to drive a flying car someday.

So... got any cool powers? Powers and Abilities
Genetic Mutation:- Foot-Long Bone Claws: Hudson has three 12-inch Bone Claws which protrude from between the knuckles of each hand. These bones seem to be made of a more dense material than other bone-matter, and can effectively tear through flesh and bone themselves. When these claws are protracted the mutant is unable to bend his wrists thanks to how long the bones themselves are.
- Organic-Metal Resin: With a simple mental command, James is able to coat his claws with a specialized resin that secretes from his cells which heavily resembles the metal steel, making them blades that can slice through metal with relative ease. This material can only seem to cover the specific type of bone that make up his claws, and nothing else. As the teenager grows in age the "metal" grows denser and the edge of the blades hone further.
- Enhanced Healing Factor: What Jimmy considers to be his primary ability, the teen is able to heal from injury at a rate that far exceeds what's capable of any other human. His blood clots in a matter of seconds to reduce blood loss while his body itself prepares to heal. Most injuries involving his flesh heal in approximately a minute, usually taking closer to a half an hour for his bones to heal from a break, and him being able to re-attach a severed body part if he can place it to the corresponding "stump". While not at the same speed as some similar healing factors, it seems that Scavenger's ability to heal grows faster the more he uses it. It also seems that he is able to intentionally slow the healing process if it were to serve a purpose that would be beneficial, if such a situation were to ever arise.
- Enhanced "Feral" Senses: Hudson's senses are enhanced to a level that can often be compared to that of most animals, giving him an awareness of his surroundings that no human could ever hope to achieve without a superhuman enhancement of some type.
- Enhanced Physicality: Scavenger's healing factor allows his muscles to grow stronger and more limber at a rate much faster than a normal human, and causes his body to not produce fatigue toxins as quickly either.
Weaknesses: Jimmy's powers make him resistant to most forms of injury, however, he cannot regrow parts of his body that were removed. Instead, he would be required to place the severed part to an open wound on the previously connected area so that it may re-attach. The material known as Carbonadium also can impair his healing factor, slowing his healing down to that of a normal person when present in his body.
The mutant's claws also limit the range of his wrist movement when "unsheathed". With his claws out, Hudson is unable to move his wrists to any position that would make his knuckles face anywhere that isn't straight in relation to the rest of his arm.
In situations of extreme stress, or extreme urgency, Hudson is prone to flying into a rage. While berserking out, Jimmy doesn't exercise any discretion between enemy and ally he will attack anyone in sight until someone can make him come down from the rage. The length of these vary greatly and can last anywhere from a few minutes to a few days. In the later example the most effective way to calm him down is to usually incapacitate him in the form of knocking him unconscious.
Learned Abilities: James is not academically the best student, usually having reserved study time for some manner of hair brained scheme. He is rather talented when it comes to mechanics, so much so, that he wishes to make a career out of it.
Hudson is also a fairly athletic young man, sports being a nice escape for him, having played a fair amount of football and soccer over the years. Usually, he would play any position that required quickness in terms of running.
Resources: Whatever the Mass. academy has available to him as a student.
Education: James has an education of your typical underachieving student in high school. Having always preferred math and science to things, such as English and History, he has always displayed reasonable proficiency in these subjects. In fact, the only reason people know he's not applying himself is based on his IQ score from tests.
So why not tell them the Truth Charles? The History
Jimmy Hudson was born in an orphanage in Canada, quickly, he was adopted by James and Heather Hudson so that they could raise a child together. The three made a happy family together, living in Alberta, and it seemed like the situation was going to remain that way for a long time.
Of course, James then began misbehaving and causing fights at school. After this began it quickly escalated into a nearly weekly thing of the adopted child getting into some form of trouble, even if it wasn't always him who caused the issue itself. While it was frequently recommended by others that the boy's parents simply wash their hands of him, the two made sure that the young man remained in their care, feeling a certain responsibility for him at this point.
This dynamic remained the way it was for several years, until Hudson learned to drive, and it seemed that the teen had outgrown his terrible behavior. In actuality, though, he had simply found a new way to get in trouble without getting in trouble. Jimmy began participating in drag races and the like. The new habit would soon become a catalyst to change the course of his life forever.
One fateful night, the brakes to Jimmy's car had been cut before the race by another racer, as there had been a lot of money riding on who won that night. This made it impossible for the young racer to bring his car to a halt after the end, resulting in a disastrous crash. All witnesses believed Hudson dead by this point, but, were proven wrong in a horrific sight as the teen crawled forth from the wreckage without skin and large parts of muscle missing. Even more frightening was that before their eyes his skin and muscle seemed to be growing back rapidly. All individuals fled the scene, calling Jimmy a "monster".
His parents were immediately informed of the incident, but rather than ostracize him like the young man had expected, they accepted their mutant son and protected him by sending him to a school for children like himself. Northstar, a close friend of Jimmy's adopted father from Alpha Flight, informed the two of the Massachusetts Academy and offered to take care of their friend's son while there. Under the watch of Jean-Paul, he is to stay out of trouble, and remain protected while James Hudson Sr. deals with some issues in Canada.
All schools have tests. Sample Post [Sample of a post from a slightly angrier version of this Jimmy]
Jimmy had climbed off of his bus at the end of the institute's drive-way, which led to the gates. Looking around, taking in the morning, the young mutant took in a breath of the crisp air of the morning. The state was pretty warm, compared to Hudson's land of origin Canada. It was only natural for the occurrence. Anyone who studied geography knew how the equator worked after all.
With his duffel bag swung over his shoulder, the young man strode up the path towards the gates. Today, Hudson was wearing a beat up pair of jeans with an old pair of working boots. In addition he had donned an old t-shirt, accompanied by a hoodie sweater to keep warm.
Eventually, Jimmy reached the gate and, unsure of what to do, waited by the metal bars until someone passed by. He wasn't the happiest camper by any definition of the expression, who would be? Hudson's parents had actually carted him off to this school to hide him from the world when the boy that was adopted by the seventeen years ago turned out to have something wrong with him.
As Hank approached, Jimmy looked at the man with some initial shock. This, though, quickly passed as Hudson realized that the feral would be exposed to a lot of this type of stuff. Besides, the big fur ball wasn't the only one with a mutation that physically manifested. "Hello?" he asked cautiously, to make sure the man knew he was there, hints of an accent leaking through.

Yay! Wolvie jr. Okay, first I would like you to add more to body type, describe his apperance more, like his hair & eyes. Also if you can, id like to see a couple more turn-ons and turn-offs, but this is just a suggestion and not necesarily a something you have to do if you dont want to/cant come up with more. Mostly the history is fine, but could you add something about how the parents knew about the Mass Academy? About how they are old friends/collegues of Jean-Paul or something. So just a couple of minor things
