The flight to Boston had been pleasant enough for the young man. He was dressed for the casual flight. It was a low travel day and the plane was kind of empty so Everett kept his boarding bag in the seat next to him. Everett Thomas thought that this was going to be an interesting experience. The Massachusetts Academy for Excellent Young People. More accurately, The Massachusetts Academy for Mutants. Everett smirked to himself as he looked out the window towards the sky and land far below. This was going to be more than interesting. This was going to be fun.
And a challenge. Ms Frost had made it abundantly clear that this school was going to have an aggressive curriculum standard with the added benefit of working to maximize her students' gifts. Everett smiled a bit at the opportunity to learn so many mutant powers as he believed that each of those mutant powers to learn and experience would bring him closer to mastering his own gift so he could keep them when they left his range.
There was a car waiting for him when he arrived at Boston's airport. He rode in the back of the posh town car and watched as they rode through the town of Bayville and arrived at the Academy. It was beautiful. He wondered if it was one of Emma's family homes. He slipped from the car and took in a breath.
He was dressed in a blue turtleneck shirt and navy blue jeans. He wore black sneakers with his black duffel bag on his shoulder. He got his two suitcases out of the back of the trunk and headed up the walkway.

Emma waited at the door for the school’s latest arrival. When she can fit it into her schedule, she did like to meet the new students coming into her school. She knew she could probably answer all their questions much better than anyone else could. Beside, it was a good way the make sure the rift raft did not sneak in and to make sure that they knew who to respect and/or fear. She really did not want her students to fear but with some the only way to gain respect is to put fear into them. As always, Ms. Frost was dressed all in white. She wore a corset top, leather pants and a blazer. Her blonde hair fell loosely behind her shoulder; she had not gotten around to putting it up between her morning work out and waiting for Everett. Her fingers played with the string of pearls around her neck and as the toe of her high heel sandal while she waited. Her actions alone telling you Emma was not a woman that waited well. She greeted her newest student with a polite smile as he made his way up the walkway. “Welcome to the Academy, Mr. Thomas! I have been waiting for you.” Emma purred softly. She arched one eyebrow as she saw he was carrying his own bags. “You do realize that the driver can do that?” Emma asked her fingers moving off her pearls and then gestured to the driver as she explained. “They get paid for such task and it’s really a waste of money if you don’t let them do it.”The blonde telepath then held out her hand and smiled. “I am Emma Frost, the headmistress and founder of the school.” Through a veil of eyelashes, she judged his actions and thoughts seeing if she was wrong about bringing him to her school. Emma did so hate to be wrong…

Everett looked to the young woman who had invited him to this school. She was dressed in a very... interesting way. He wondered if that was her definition of a power suit. "Thank you for inviting me Ms. Frost." He approached her and held out his hand.
He looked to the driver. "Didn't think of it at the time, never had the luxury. He can handle the cases, the duffel bag I wanna keep on me." Inside it were personal things, pictures of his family, and other trinkets that he preferred to keep on his person until he was in his room here. It would take getting some use to... this house... mansion. Beats the heck out of his parent's apartment flat.
"I think the school is an interesting place. I feel so different just being here. I can't catagorize what mutant powers are here, I don't have a tracking ability built in. But I feel... a bit overwhelmed at the moment." He then gave a soft nice smirk. "But only a bit."
Everett thoughts of the school were of a challenge he could barely imagine and was just getting a feel for. To learn more about every mutant power that could possibly run across. Learn how to use them... Learn how to keep them...

Emma nodded at his response. She was pleased. So far he prove that he was worthy of her school. “We are happy to have a boy of your talents at the school.” She said in a soft coo. “I am sure you will fit in wonderfully.”
The blonde took a moment to consider something before continuing and tilted her head to the side slightly. “Would knowing a few of the powers bouncing around will help you focus?” She asked curiously. She knew his powers from the report on her desk but sometimes the person can tell and show you things not able to be express on paper.
“I am a telepath and so are my five girls.” She said smiling slightly as she starts to lead him fully into the school. “So you may want to get familiar with the power that you have so much easy access to. It’s also a very hand power to have access to.”
“We have a transforming feral all her transformations are feline base.” Emma paused and shrugged slightly as she brushed her hair off her shoulders. “I am unsure if you would be interest in such a power set.”
“Our dance teacher has a similar power set to yours but her power is touch base.” The telepath was unsure what would happen if Everett synched Rogue or Rogue touched Everett and part of her didn’t want to find out. “And our self-defense teacher has a form of audioknesis and so does his daughter.”
The blonde figured that was enough describing powers of the students and staff. She was sure Everett would take it upon himself to explore the powers he had at his disposal. “We have a diverse collection of powers. Diverse but elite. Everyone here has the potential of being leader and shaper of the world.” She looked to Everett making sure that he knew that she thought he had the greatest potential. “I am very careful to who comes through those doors.”

Everett smiled to her. "I aim to succeed, all anyone can ask is a turn at bat." He smiled to her. It was what Everett believed in. No one was guerenteed success, that was the product of hard work, initiative, natural ability. But everyone should have the right to chance to show what they got.
He nodded to her question. "It would, my powers kind of work on conscious awareness. I have to at least impart know what the power is I try synchronize with." He smirked. "And frankly its safer that way. I really don't wanna get into how long I was bed ridden after taking a power I shouldn't have."
She explained her powers and those of her five girls... he hadn't thought her the type to be a mother already. She looked young... and hot! "Indeed, a nice power to have. I guess that's why I have been getting background noise since we started talking."
He cringed. Yeah that was the power he had taken. "Yeah, physicals cause me problems... shifters more so. If I lose the power I don't spontaneously revert to me. I would have to refind the source to do it probably. I took cat claws once and it took me 10 days of agony in my bed to expunge the foreign mutation from my body."
He nodded to the next two. The touch based power was interesting. He was curious about that one. "Perhaps we can teach each other some stuff." He smirked. Then he listened to the next one. Audiokinesis would be fun to try.
He let Emma continue the tour.
